Details of Srijan,
The Srijan (creativity in English) Microfinance Forum, organized by Intellecap since 2006, has been 
a national-level platform that recognizes emerging and innovative business initiatives in the
microfinance and financial inclusion space. Srijan today has also become synonymous with a forum that 
has attracted the finest experts and stakeholders within the sector and engaged them in debates on 
issues and challenges that plague the Indian microfinance space.
 
Srijan 2009 will focus on the social vs. commercial aspects of microfinance. 
The event will also through its various awards and discussion topics further the promotion of the 
ongoing establishment of a credit bureau, sharing of negative loan information, building of an
ethical code of conduct, launching of innovative financial products & services, integration of
technology and much more.
